hi all, i posted a question here in customisation

I am trying to pull point coordinates from model space and put them on a table

i had another idea, to use fields.

is there a way use a field in paperspace that identifies a point in model space through a viewport?

Thru a viewport not, the object has nothing to do with your viewport,

but sure you can read object data by using a field.

it doesn't matter where the object is and where the field.

How to

Create the table in modelspace, clip&paste to layout don't work?

Then:

1. Copy fieldcodes step by step

2. A tool to copy fields can also help.

Bye
