Ltscales matching MS and PS

Hi,

Easy question. I have a dashed lines in Model Tab and look ok. However I have the same lines looking as a continuous lines in the Paper Space viewport. To match, I can change the property Linetype scale but it change it back in the Model Tab.

How to make the line match in both Model Tab and Paper Space viewport without changing any property? It is a combination of LTSCALE and PSLTSCALE?

Generally, the Properties Linetype Scale is 1, and then LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE, and PSLTSCALE = 1.

Here is the preferred settings I use for all of our drawings.

Sometimes a different line types you may have to adjust the Linetype Scale manually by selecting the line and going to Properties. But most of the time I don't.

Line types used are: CENTER2 and HIDDENX2

LTSCALE: 5

PSLTSCALE: 0

Line Type Scale: 1.000

I'd always leave LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE & PSLTSCALE settings to 1 and do not scale the linetypes within the object itself.

This way when in Model space the linetype generates based on the Annotation scale. Then in Paperspace the linetype generates based on the zoom scale within each vport. Now if you encounter a linetype that doesn't work with these settings, then learn to create your own linetype that do work.
