hatch transparency

The hatching I have used needs transparency. So I make it transparent and exit the hatch editor. Then I save my work and exit autocad. When I re-open my autocad file all the transparency changes back to 0.

Its the oddest thing my whole office has seen. I work on Autocad 2018.

I have added a picture and dwg

"Transparency" was not available in the 20 years old Program version 2000.

Also associated dimensions, also not available - layer overrides, annotation feature and more more more

Solution: Work in the native file format: dwg2018

If you need the dwg2000 format, you cannot use transparency (the format is not prepared for transparency)

>> So I make it transparent and exit the hatch editor.

i suggest to make your transparency in hatch editor as Bylayer then from Layer command dialog check and change Transparency tab .
