Multi-Leader Display Issue between Users/Versions

I have a multi-leader in a file, when I open it in 2020 (Left side), it looks correct and 2018 (Right side) looks incorrect for me. When someone else here opens it in 2018, they also have it look correctly. The grips (highlighted in the image) show what the limitations are but the right version goes beyond the grips. This happens while someone publishes too. What is the setting or variable that fixes this issue? Thanks.

Open the file and press [F2]

Which FONT is missing?

I checked. Nothing is missing. There is a substitution, which identically happens in the files that open correctly. The substitution files are identical as well between the users.

Looking at the text box for each side, it changed size between the two. Never seen it happen here, can you share that portion of the DWG file for us to try?

You checked just the font name or also the font definition/version?

Some time ago we had a pretty good thread or support case about an issue similar to this,

it was MTEXT objects but i guess the source problem is the same.

I try to find it.

Here you go. I checked again this morning just in case and the same thing. 2018 has 2 lines of text while 2020 has 3 for just me. Other users here could have it either way.

I also verified that the users have the same updates or patches yesterday.

I checked the font file "SHX" version in the support font folder. I compared the modified date only. All were similar.

ahh, i found this older support case now!

and thank you for the DWG, which confirms it is the same issue like my older case i remembered now.

What i found in the past:

1. It is only a problem if unicode characters are inside the Mtext.

2. But the CAD-version can not be the only reason, because you will find other systems

where it works as expected with same CAD Product!
