hatch pattern .pat file is missing

I downloaded a stone hatch pattern from internet. I followed the instructions on screen. But after I went back into autocad and attempted to use the hatch an error message appeared that says the acad.pat file can't be found.

When I click ok a message appears that says "no standard patterns available", then when I click ok again I receive an error message that says "error in reading the pattern file", after going through these same error messages a couple of times, it will finally open the hatch program but nothing is available to use

It's not missing, did you modify your acad.pat and corrupted it? what did you do with the stone hatch .pat ?

Hi,

You should not have edited your ACAD.PAT file.

If you have not done any other customizations I would recommend to reset settings to default as described >>>here<<<.

Then simply copy your downloaded PAT-file to one of the AutoCAD support folders, restart AutoCAD and this should already work.
