AutoCAD 2018 unable to import skp file

My CAD2018 use to be skp friendly. but after rolling back from the latest 2020 version. the CAD 2018 unable to import any skp file.

so what happend was, after upgraded to the latest 2020 version, and the skp import plug-in has also been upgraded. the cad 2020 became unstable after few windows updates been installed. after Intel automatically updated few hardware's driver, the cad2020 finally unable to start. and I uninstalled cad2020 and skp import plug-in 2020.

after re-download and re-installed cad2018 and skp import 2016-2019 plug-in from AUTODESK Store. the cad will not import any version of skp file. from Ver.07 -ver.2018.

any suggestion? cheers.

have you try to saveas to lower version of your skp file before importing and see if helps. thanks

just to remind and review :

make sure that you really uninstall the plugins before you install it again . >> Click <<
make sure that you insert the files with *.SKP extensions NOT *.SKB.

SKP importing is a third party add-in, not a core feature: you forgot to reinstall it when you rolled back.
