Choice of colors in Blocks

I have a block reproduced twice in my drawings.

In the first one, I want that all the colors are according to their specific layers.

In the second block, I want that some of the objects in the block will become red.

How to do?

I tried to put colors "Byblock" instead of "Bylayer" for these objects, but then, the layer color diasappears in the objects of the first block, even if I put layer 0 for this block.

separate them in different blocks then make your changes .

Of course, your solution works. But it is a complex block where I'll have to make many changes. That's why I want to keep the 2 drawings as the same block in order not to miss a change.

Hi,

This is doable by adding both the block inside one block and then add visibility parameter to control the visibility of two different block. I can help you on this if you could attach the block.

Thank you very much Vinodkl, you perfectly answered to my request. Thanks to your response, I looked for visibility states of blocks, and I discovered a new world for using more widely blocks in Autocad. I did it and it works fine.
