Cant edit scale list

I use a student verson of Autocad.

I cant change or make new scale list in the Scale list editor.

When i push the butten scale list in the Annotate window, nothing happend.

Whats wrong.

I don't know which version of AutoCAD you use. But I guess it might be AutoCAD 2020.

If so, please install the latest Update 1 of AutoCAD 2020, it includes this fix for a similar issue - Scale List can't be stored.

Of course, there is a possible work around: you may use the command "_-scalelistedit" to add a new scale into the list.

Which AiutoCAD version do you use? (Maybe MAC?)

What happens if you type SCALELISTEDIT in the command line?

If this doesn't help, show us your "about" window. (Type the about command and post a screenshot of this window).

Another idea:

Did you use a second monitor in the past? Maybe the ScaleListEditWindow is out off your screen?

When i type editscalelist in the commando fields, nothing happend, but the display lock ang i have to push ESC to open the window again

You don't answer my questions ... 😞

But what you describe ("When i type editscalelist in the commando fields, nothing happend, but the display lock ang i have to push ESC to open the window again") sounds for me like your EditWindow was moved off the screen.

BTW: My AutoCAD doesn't know an editscalelist command 😉

Dialog is open after you start the command, but off screen.

Start the command and then:

then press [Win]+[Shift]+[<-] or [->] (Arrow key Left or Right)

Thank you. Your AutoCAD is not up to date. the current version is (AFAIK) 2018.1.2 (O.161.0.0),

But I guess this doesn't cause your problem. Try the other above given suggestions.

Thank you for the help.

I used the funktion Win+shift+ arrow.

Then the correct window cames into the screen. And i could edit and change the scales
