.pat file extension help

All of my hatch patterns have the appropriate extension of .pat. however, they are now associated with Photoshop and I cannot edit them. how do I re-associate the .pat with AutoCAD hatch patterns?

In a File Explorer window, right-click on a .PAT file, select "Open with...", and select Notepad (or another text editor). Make sure the option to "Always use the selected program..." is checked before clicking OK.

Hi,

You need to right-click on the .pat file and click "open with". Now choose the "notepad" app and checkmark the option "always use this file to open .pat file"
