AutoCad is unusable. Can't draw any lines without lagging - no presicion

Hey,

I already tried tried installing AutoCad 19 and 20 and I tried uninstalling and re-installing multiple times. I tried changing the settings of the catching points but nothing helps at all.

My laptop is for sure strong enough (Intel i7, Nvidia GeForce GTX, 16 GB RAM etc). I updated everything i could: Graphic drivers, AutoCad, Windows. Do you have any other ideas? Or do you know the magical solution?

Hi,

Type in the command "3DCONFIG" and try turning it "ON" and Apply the changes.

If it's still lagging try setting "DYNMODE" to "0" or press F12 to turn on/off.

Thank you so much. Why did it help?

I have a french version and he didn't know "3DCONFIG" but turning the DYNMODE to 0 helped so much. I was struggling for almost a year now.

Englisch commands: You can use international commands, underline[englishcommand]

engl. LINE => international _LINE => fr LIGNE

LIGNECOMMANDE: (getcname "_LINE") => "LIGNE"
LIGNECOMMANDE: (getcname "LIGNE") => "_LINE"

Hi,

As explained by @cadffm you need to add "_" before a command if you are not working in the English version. So the command would be like this"_3DCONFIG"

And you can read about DYNMODE from the help section.
