Good to know: remember, with remote help, you tell all you've done before posting since we do not know you we will always assume you did nothing all the time and need to be asked to do it.

Do this: reset or reinstall this user's MECH2019 back to factory settings, do nothing more than ensure CTB paths match someone else's paths from another computer, then have them try it again.

If that fails, log into the PC as an all new user not on the network and test. If it works, the user needs a new login. Or if you prefer, wipe and reclone this PC to match another working PC 100% then try it.

Good luck.

I have a user who is suddenly having issues with publishing. He has the CTB files all copied to his local drive, and AutoCAD is pointing to the correct location in the plotter style search path, but he cannot publish multiple drawings to PDF. Please note, we are not using the AutoCAD to PDF option, but rather using our own page setup to publish to PDF so the lineweights are correct.

I cannot figure out what is wrong. All the file paths seem correct, and the error message is not exactly helpful (attached). Any thoughts on where I can look to solve this issue?

We are using AutoCAD Mechanical 2019, but I posted this here because it's not related directly to mechanical and this forum will get more traffic.

What if someone else tries to PUBLISH the exact same drawing(s) the same exact way, does it work?

What if the user tried doing the same with different DWG files, still the same problem?

See where I'm going with this...? You've not done enough testing yet, no data.

Actually, we did do enough testing - I had the user test other drawings; same outcome. I was able to test the same drawings, and different drawings, with no problems.

I'm not sure what other data I can come up with - I have a user who can't publish but can plot certain drawings. I haven't had him test all 500 drawings he's currently working on, but he did a sample set, and this was the issue we came up with.
