Please check the following points:

In which situation do you get the error? When you describe your steps before the issue appears, it might be easier to understand the situation you are in.
Please do also enter _ABOUT in your AutoCAD command line and share a screenshot of the window that pops up. It will show which version you have installed and if for this version some updates are missing.
Was the function working before or did it happen right from the start after installing the software.
Do you get the same crash in an empty drawing?
