I have a table created from Datalink / Excel. I break table to fit on the sheet. The new 2nd table is formatted different than 1st column. I am good, but not that good. HELP!!?!??!?!??

Thanks in Advance!!!

Hi @jstanke,

That is very interesting. I am not able to reproduce the issue when I change the formatting in the table then split the rows. It looks like the cells were filled from a datalink rather than copying the data into the table. Can you confirm that?

I suppose it is possible that the AutoCAD table has different alignment settings than the Excel table and it is acting as an override. If you run a REGEN or REGENALL, does that make a difference?

I would be happy to take a look at the files if you would like. Let me know what version of Windows and Excel you are using.

If a post was helpful, Likes are always welcome.

The table is filled with 'datalinked' info. I could not repair the issue, so i exploded the table, printed / exported what i needed, and "undid" to relink the datalink. Not a fix, but a work around. Good enough to get the job out the door...

Thank you for replying @cheryl.buck !!!!!

Thank you for the reply. That is really strange, I am glad to hear you found a workaround. If it happens again, let us know, and we can look into it further.
