Count Blocks Using Macros

Hello!

I have a problem in counting the attributes using the MACROS.

So...i have lots of MACROS for example: Front Access, Rear Access etc. I draw my design, i use the MACRO for Front Access where is show me just front pieces and when i use the data extraction for this i end up with a table where are counted Front and Rear Access. And i need to do the count in DataExtraction but just for Front Access.

Someone has idea how can i use the DataExtraction for the right MACRO?

I really struggle with this. 😞

Would you post an example dwg. I don't understand the macro reference. If I understand that you have blocks that you want to count two different ways using dataextraction then you will need to have two separate dataextraction templates and tables, but to be sure I would need a dwg with the block to reference.

Yesss...you understand exactly! Thank God!

So, each Macro has his attributes. If you select one Macro its showing all the blocks with attributes for front, another Macro show the same blocks but with attributes for rear. I don't know how to use dataextraction separate to count the attributes from the Macro which i select.

At the moment, if i select the Macro for front with attributes for front, when i use dataextraction is counting all the attributes from that drawing, and i don't want that.

You said something about dataextraction separate....i don't see how is possible this, because is included everything. 😞

Unfortunately i cannot attached due to the rules.

It would be difficult to solve your specific problem but I hope this example helps. Screen shot below with associated files attached.
