DWG Compare tool not transferring blocks

I am using the DWG COMPARE tool to transfer some of the objects and lines that were added to a drawing. When I use the COMPARE command and select all the lines and a few of the blocks, it only grabs the lines and filters out the blocks. I am then left with a drawing that only has half the changes on it. Why is it filtering the blocks only? Do I have a system variable wrong?

Ya I must be unsure of how it works then. I attached both dwgs.

Drawing2 is the ORIGNAL drawing

Drawing1 has all the changes I made that I want to be placed on Drawing2

It seems that "some" blocks get filtered out but not all of them. Not sure why.

Tested with circles, lines and Blockreferences - works fine in the current Productversion 2025.1

EDIT: our answers overlapped, my statement was a general test with my own files.
I'll test your files and report back.

I have productversion 2022. Does that matter?

you open drawing2, start compare, Question: Does a message appear?

If not, you select the "Don't show the message again" in the past!

Go to OPTIONS, SYSTEM, upper right corner [...messages..]

and turn the message(s) about DWG compare ON.

The message is: liek "Raster Images are not supported"

3 of 5 of your blocks contains a WIPEOUT, wipeouts are special objects and "raster images" as well.

Wipeout and Raster Image, that'S the problem.

Ok this is great information. So, how do I know if a block has a raster, and how do I delete it? I can get rid of all the wipeouts, that fine!

You can't, if you are not the creator. Or you have to check all manually.

There is no ootb feature "to do anything in all blocks", but you will find tools which can "do anything in all blocks",

some of them can "delete all hatchs" or perhaps "delete all wipeouts" - search for it.

You can only really say that if you know the structure of the blocks, but the risk is yours.

Seach for: AutoCAD delete all wipeout in blocks

and you will get a lot of tools (or links to them)

I ended up taking off the wipeouts from the blocks and it now works almost 100%. There are a few blocks that don't work but I'm ok with that. This will capture the majority of the work I am doing.

Same issue (do you still? disabled the compare-Alerts?)
