Text to Geometry

I have over 1,200 tags, each with a unique txt feild that I need to convert to polylines to engrave on my CNC machine. Is there a way to convert the text to polylines with out having to use bpoly or using textexp and cleaning up over 22,000 letters individually? I would appreciate any help that could be given!

what is the nature of those Text field , numbers or letters with numbers or what ? can you show us a clear screenshot for those tags ?

Numbers and Letters see below: I can get this to work with the txt font or other single line font but I would also liek to be able to do this with a block font.

Sadly there will always be some cleanup to do with the core commands.

FYI... Blocks need to be exploded with BURST command.
MTEXT need to be EXPLODEd too.

Use INSUNITS = 0

Flatten and answer No

I may not be fully understanding your issue, and I know you said you don't want to use TXTEXP, but I've found it to be a pretty efficient method. As long as your text is on its own layer, you can use the SELECTSIMILAR command to select all the text, isolate the layer, and follow these steps to quickly convert it to geometry:

1) Enter TXTEXP.
2) Window all the text again (easier if you've isolated the layer/selection) and enter REGION.
3) Window all the text again and enter UNION
4) Optional: explode grouped text and re-union as desired.
