Move defaults to displacement

I have been using AutoCad for more than a few years. I recently upgraded to AutoCad 2020. When I use the move, copy, rotate, or stretch command I the past I could specify the base point. Withe 2020 These commands default to the displacement, which just executes the command to whatever point it want to. How do I disable the displacement option. I tried pinning the command line, setting the Dyn mode to 0, but nothing stop the commands from defaulting to displacement.

Hi,

you must have Specify base point or [Displacement] <Displacement>: in your command line after selecting the object , have you? i think that you have press enter twice to get the way that you have .

Can you check if your AutoCAD is updated?

And also after executing the command press F2 and then copy the command history and post in the reply.

I downloaded the latest update. This worked for several command, but the move command defaulted to displacement.
Command: _move
Select objects: 1 found

Select objects:

Specify base point or [Displacement] :

Specify displacement <0.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000>:

Command: *Cancel*

Try to type

.move

(with an initial dot)

and see...

when it asks you to specify base point or displacement, you need to pick a point. If you just hit enter it will take you to the displacement option.

OK after many years of hitting enter for the base point I'll need to learn not to do that.

I can't get that far. When I right click to enter after select object the AutoCad just defaults to displacement and moves the object.

instead of right click and you just press keyboard enter or spacebar , any changes ? OR / and if you change your mouse with another new one , any changes ?

Using enter on the keyboard seems to work. I will try a different mouse.

It is not ok to do additional clicks!

How come it works flawless from command bar but you need to press an additional Enter/Space when using keyboard? (in command line, there are no difference in commands, excepting the auto displacement when using keys)
