topic Anyone know how to datalink but the source table is from cad in AutoCAD Forum

Hi everyone,

I have a problem: Like when we import an excel table we use datalink command to link the data between them so when we edit in excel, table in autocad will auto update. But are there anyway to do this but in the reverse position?(the source table is in autocad, when we edit data in cad, the table in excel will auto update according to our cad table). Tks in advance

Hi,

you can edit the AutoCAD table and it can write back to the spreadsheet , read more here . You can unlock the cells by selecting them and choosing the Unlock option. Once you have edited the cells, a simple right-click and your Excel file is updated. >> Click <<
