Project-wide numbering no working

Hi , I’m doing wire numbering in a my practice , I can put the number in “drawing-wide” and “pick individual wire” mode but can’t do this in “project-wide” option . Basically when I go through steps to the end , no wire number appears at all.

It would be much appreciated if some one giving me a clue and solution,

If you do project wide numbering, and only select the page you have open, that works with page wide numbering, nothing happens?

Thank you but unfortunately it doesn’t even numbering in the current page , meant not any page at all , however basically for the tabs and window for being activated to functioning ,you need to be in a open project and one or more pages opened , I tried reset, rebuild, purge, project retag and format , but still project-wide numbering does not work.

it looks like you did nothing after numbering.

What version AcadE? Did you use the Autodesk Desktop App to install all available updates?

If you don't have any customzations, can you try to reset to default, and try again?

Did you get this solved? If not, try this.

Open your project. Open a drawing and do something so that you know it needs an update. Then type the following two lines below in on the command line. Press <enter> key after pasting each line. The first one retrieves your drawing name and path into a string variable. The second one completes a project-wide update on wire numbers for that single drawing.

(setq DName123 (strcat (getvar "dwgprefix")(getvar "dwgname")))

(c:wd_wnums_doit DName123 "1" (list "0" "1" "1" "%N" "1" "R" "0" "" "0"))

The above commands are located in the API help files in case you want to look them up. I keep them in SCR files for my own custom commands.

If the drawing still has update issues after the above test, maybe you could post a screen capture or additional details.

EDIT* The above test will confirm if your project wide update feature is working. If the test works maybe you could confirm details on what you are choosing for the option. If the script fails the problem is elsewhere and more details will be needed on your drawing, etc.
