Multi page Publishing pdf results in light text

I am having a problem printing multi page pdfs. The text is real light no matter what color they are.

I have changed the AEPDFFONTALT to off but this does not cure the problem. I have read that changing the FONTALT variable might cure the problem but I don't know what to change it to.

Any suggestions?

Do you want color? I have my drawing template and thus my drawings set to plot in monochrome. Some colors, like yellow for instance, don't show up very well against a white background. I use the built-in AcadE to PDF driver. But my PDF outputs aren't light. AEPDFFONTALT is set to <ON>.

Hi!

I'd check if the text styles in your drawings already is set to use true type fonts.
Use the STYLE command to check what fonts that are used for the text styles WD/WD_IEC.

If they are True Type fonts already, the AEPDFFONTALT setting won't do anything.
Also, make sure you use the IV25 or IV50 version of the fonts. These are thicker.

You cannot control the line width of true type fonts using CTB files.

The light text is with yellow and white. I Funny thing about it is when I plot a single Pdf everthing print correctly.

It is when I print mutipage pdf's to a single file is when I have the problem

Ok, and what text style are the yellow texts using?

When you OPEN the drawing, what does it say on the command line?
Strange that this don't happen on single sheet plot..

Can you share the DWG?

Here is what it says on opening. I don't know if my company will allow drawing sharing. This only occures when I try to publish a single multi sheet

pdf from many drawings. If I pdf to a single drawing using plot command I do not see the fading.

Opening an AutoCAD 2013 format file.
Substituting [ROMANS__.TTF] for [romans.shx].
Substituting [TXT_____.TTF] for [txt.shx].
Substituting [TXT_____.TTF] for [txt.shx].
Substituting [ROMANS__.TTF] for [romans.shx].
Substituting [SIMPLEX_.TTF] for [simplex.shx].
Substituting [SIMPLEX_.TTF] for [simplex.shx].
Regenerating model.

AutoCAD menu utilities loaded.

Ahh.. As you can see, it replaces the fonts during opening of the drawing. This is controlled by the file acade.fmp.
You can find this file here: C:\Users\{username}\appdata\roaming\autodesk\autocad electrical 201X\rXX.0\enu\support\
Open it with notepad to edit it.

Edit these lines:

txt;txt_IV50..TTF
simplex;simplex_IV50.TTF
romans;ROMANS_IV50.TTF

Save the file, restart AutoCAD, and try again.

What FMP-file is your AcadE set to use?

It should be acad.fmp. AcadE.fmp is being used when AEPDFFONTALT is set to ON, and you publish to PDF.

Still have same problem after turning AEPDFFONTALT to on.
