You could use either setup...

Both methods are suitable for use in a schematic but the second method would work best if you use a ladder style of diagram.

In either method, you will need to use the appropriate tool to link the components with the dashed line.

The one problem that I can see is that ACADE does not include a changeover contact for switches however, there is a workaround.

ACADE has a changeover contact available under the Relay sub menu.

Note that ACADE calls the contact a FORM 'C' contact in the icon menu.

For use as a toggle switch, COPY the relevant blocks to a temporary location. There should be 4 of them for the 4 different directions.

Rename the copies by changing the CR to SS.

COPY these new blocks to where you keep your custom blocks.

Rename the blocks in the temporary location again. This time change the 4th character to a 1. (HSS223R to HSS123R for example).

Open all four blocks and edit the TAG2 attribute and change it to TAG1.

Add the MFG and CAT attributes to each block.

Save and Close the four blocks.

Now MOVE the four blocks to the same location you keep all your custom blocks.

To use, insert the relevant block using one of the parent (H/VSS1) blocks. Next insert the relevant block for the child contact (H/VSS2) and you can then select the parent as per normal.

If everything works as it should, you can then add the blocks to the Icon Menu rather than browsing to the blocks.

Regards Brad
