ACADE Find and Replace Script/VBA Code

We often have it where a customer requests that we change the naming of a project, robots, equipment, etc. Sometimes this naming varies throughout mtext, attributes, etc. I'm looking for the easiest way to automatically run through all of the drawings in a project and replace any instances of the text that I'm searching for. Can anyone shed some light on the easiest way to do this? From what I've seen as far as built-in ACADE features it's only for component attribute data. I'm looking for VBA Code/Script/LISP type function. Not the excel import/export or anything else. Any help is greatly appreciated! Basically, a MFIND script command that works.

Try this lisp routine that we use all the time.

We write it into a script file and run it though the script utility in AutoCad Electrical.
