Enable the disabled printer icon under the Plot column in Layer settings

Hi,
I am trying to enable a default non-enabled printer icon under the plot column in layer settings. I can enable/disable all other layers, but this one is disabled by default and invisible. I attached an image for reference. The layer with the pink color (211), named Defpoints is the one I am trying to enable. Would be a great help if someone could give me a few hints on this.

Thanks for the quick response. The link did help me to a certain extent, because at least now I know that DEFPOINTS are not meant to be viewed in a print out. Do you happen to know how I can show the DEFPOINTS layer in a PDF print out though? Thanks again.

Enabling the visibility of the defpoints layer will only show on-screen and will not "print" to pdf.. It is disabled.
