Need to rotate text of objects

Hello,

I am would like the text of my objects to be rotated 90 degrees (reading them from bottom to top). I would like to adjust this on a per drawing basis. Is this possible?

Schematic symbols?
MTEXT?

Yes the text of schematic symbols, such as Installation, Location, Description, etc.

Ok, so the drawing on the top is the format we are looking for.

So we not only have to flip the text 90 deg, but we have to get the text items to not overlap each other.

So how do we go about doing this?

I would recommend to do it manually.

The different symbols will have the text placed in different places. It's "impossible" to create some algorithm that does this automatically. And, if you do find that algorithm, you must get someone to program ut for you.

I normally use attribute rotate command AEATTROTATE from Schematic tab to rotate the symbol texts (90 deg increments) and move texts manually if they overlap with other texts or lines etc.
