Thanks for taking your time.

Do I change the Electrical Standard Code?

Or just the "Feature Scale Multiplier set to 1" and select "Mm full size"? I messed with the scale as my drawing is from a client and I've no clue what scale this is. I just trial and error till 9.25, so that I can insert components at a similar size.

Inserting Multiple Cable Markers Bug?

Hi all,

Any idea why when inserting "Multiple Cable Markers", be it Project/Drawing wide or via picking, it bugs out this way?

Initially I thought my wires are too close to each other (left example), so I spaced them out even more but it still bugs out the same.

I have tried:

- Osnap on, it pops this error "Too many objects selected for INTERSECT". But I see no different with osnap off. It still bugs out the same.

- Playing with project scale so cable component comes out small

Tried on Electrical 2015 and 2018. Inserting them manually via Cable Markers turns out perfectly fine. But I've thousands to do so not the most efficient way of doing things.

If it look like in your screnshot, something is strange... It seems like the cable marker is exploded...

What symbol is set up to be used as the cable marker?
Is there an asterix (*) in the block name? (Causing the block to be exploded)

It should look like this:

Hi Trond,

Thanks for your reply.

My apologies. My post bugged out as well when I was posting and some important bits went along with it. Anyway, here it goes again.

After using the multiple cable marker tool, the outputs come out this way. I have two cables here of which they are both 4 cores (R, Y, B, BK). I initially thought spacing was the issue, hence I tried it on the second terminals on the left (spread out a little more). The results are similar. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens more often that I've to check each cable inserted.

Any ideas?

Just like my cable marker earlier, this is in the block editor incase I messed up terminal attributes.

Scaling is probably the issue.
You're using a metric drawing it seems, while the drawing settings are set up for inches with a scale of 9.25.
Also, the wires are on strange coordinates.

I've seen strange things with wires like that. Try to keep them at a snap of .5

Well, that drawing isn't made in AcadE, so I believe its not drawn to any particular scale, but by "freehand". If it looks ok, it is ok. (But it's not).

The entire drawing should be drawn up from scratch the "AcadE way" if you ask me.
