topic Elevation line in AutoCAD Architecture Forum

I have created my model in AutoCad Architecture and I can see it in Object Viewer, my issue is when I try to create an elevation (Elevation Line) (BLDGEELATIONLINEADD) It ask for an insertion point, I select one but nothing shows up other than a faint white patch on the screen and does not create an elevation, funning thing is it was working fine creating an elevation but now nothing. Their has to be a setting that has been changed but I can't remember changing anything. I am lost, please help. Gerry

I did not have any issues with the BLDGEELATIONLINEADD in a new file that I created. I downloaded your file, ran the command, picked a point, and got the flash and then nothing.

I ran the command again, and this time I chose the [Dialog] option. I verified New Object was selected, chose the Pick Point button and selected an insertion point, and then selected OK to dismiss the dialog. An elevation was generated. After that, I was able to run BLDGEELATIONLINEADD again and just pick a point, and an elevation was generated.

I have no idea what was originally not working in your file, but using the Dialog option the first time seemed to get things back on track.
