Wall hatch in a section

I am trying to remove a wall hatch in a generated section. I have turned off every hatch in the display properties that I think will apply but so far no luck. I have even tried to select "edit" for the section, but the hatch disappears in edit mode so I can't select it specifically.

Would you please attache here apart from your drawing as a CAD dwg file, for testing? We need to see about what you're talking.

Thanks for the CAD dwg file...

Since you have an AEC_2D_Section object which is NOT a regular AutoCAD entity.!!! it comes from AutoCAD Architecture (ACA) or AutoCAD MEP, where AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) objects are used.

If you need to actually work with the section, you’ll need to use -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command to create a new DWG with all AEC objects exploded into plain AutoCAD entities (lines, arcs, hatches, etc.), so you can edit them normally. when it's done use LAYISO command to can select the hatch exploded lines.(It works with me)

That did it!!!!! Thank you so much! I have spent WAY to much time trying to figure it out without having to ask!!
