What is this selection box?

I've been using ACA2015 for some time and suddenly this box keeps coming up asking me to verify what I intend to click on.

Never seen it before! Anyone can tell me how to shut it off.

That is because the SC option is enabled (SC = Selection Cycling).
Turn this off using the icon in the status bar, IF it's visibility is enabled, and IF you can figure out which one it is.

---or just type in SELECTIONCYCLING and set it to 0

Here is a screen capture showing the Application Status Bar tool that toggles Selection Cycling, in ACA 2014. As Mr. McSwain noted, you may not have that tool turned on. It is a handy tool if you are trying to select something in heavy traffic (especially if it is near the bottom of the draw order) and you do not want to zoom in; it quickly becomes annoying most other times. I turn on the tool so that I can easily toggle in on when needed, and leave it off the rest of the time.

Good points David. It *is* useful, but it's also known to cause slowdown issues in complex drawings. I would agree that it should be OFF most of the time and only enabled when needed.
