How do you deal with Multiple Materials on the same wall

Hey Everyone,

I've been playing around with walls a lot lately, and was trying to figure out how I would go about creating a wall that essentially has two materials on it (or Textures/Hatches). For example. Let's say you have a wall that's 10 ft high, and you want the first 6 ft to be Brick, and the last 4ft to be siding. Would that be two walls, one 6ft high, and the other 4ft, or one wall with two textures? Having trouble wrapping my head around this one. Thanks!

Open your design tool catalog, load a few of the wall styles and use the wallstyleedit command, and look at the components tab. At the far right, note the bottom and top elevation offsets.

Note: When you change a wall by adding a component, this will affect your endcaps and opening endcaps and you will need to create a new definition. With components in the same layer that might be different thicknesses, the shrinkwrap will be controlled by the cut plane.
