MATERIALS EDITOR CRASHING

I have been doing some renderings recently on my PC. My PC is pretty powerful so I don't think the issue I'm running into has to do with that. But recently when i try to edit the materials that I have been applying to my 3d styles it will crash and pull up a UNHANDLED ACCESS VIOLATION (see the attached image). I really only need to change the scaling of some of the materials but it crashes just from clicking the edit materials button. Anyone know what might be causing this? I actually got it to work once and ever since that one time its never worked again.

Is the problem limited to this one file?

Your ACA year version is what? Post a screenshot ff your ABOUT command as well as your GRAPHICSCONFIG command pop-up too please.

My other question: is the problem only in one file?

You have some updates to install in ACA2017, do so now.
