I created a 3D model for a project and I'm trying to use the views I have set up in the model to create views in my layout spaces in my sheets. I was able to get the views to work correctly however when I set the viewport to the Hidden visual style the drawing plots in color, does anyone know how to force hidden visual style to plot in a custom plot style? one image is of the view port in layout space to show what visual setting it is set to, and the other image is a screenshot of the plot preview. as you can see the plot style is affecting the title block but not the elevations.

Plot Styles are only effective on the 2D Wireframe and 3D Wireframe Visual Styles.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/plot-style-is-not-reflected-accurately-when-plotting-from-autocad.html

You might try the suggestion to use one of the Wireframe visual styles and choose "Legacy Hidden" on the Shade Plot menu in the Plot dialog (Model tab) or in the Page Setup dialog (Layouts) to get the hidden line view when plotted, while still using a Plot Style.

I am able to set the shade plot to legacy in the model space of my sheet, but I cant set that when I'm trying to print from layout space.

So it is. That will teach me to accept what I read on the internet. Let me see if I can figure out what the AKN article meant when it said: select 'Legacy Hidden' from the Shade Plot menu (when plotting from the Model tab or when configuring page setups, for layout tabs).

I assumed "configuring page setups" meant in the Page Setup dialog.

The shade plot setting on a layout is set on each viewport, not in the Page Setup dialog.

With Paper Space active, select one or more viewports and, on the Properties palette, on the Design tab, under the Misc category, change the Shade plot property to Legacy hidden. In each viewport, set the Visual Style to 2D Wireframe or Wireframe. Plotted results should end up as "hidden" with linework plotting in accordance with the assigned Plot Style.
