    <description>&lt;P&gt;You really shouldn't be disabling the hash as that can cause slower renders.  If you're noticing that the hash step is slow when you're creating your tx file, then upgrade to a newer version of Arnold (at least Arnold 5.1.0) where hashing should be extremely quick compared to the rest of the maketx process.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't see any command-line options for maketx that control the hash.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe you can use --sattrib name value to replace the metadata "oiio:SHA-1" : string&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That's assuming you just want to remove the hash. I don't see any way to avoid calculating it in the first place.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
