Btw, what happens if you add an Arnold Volume with the same path you have in the error message (e.g. H:\Umo\02 Producción\3D\vol\Simulation Scene_0040.vdb). Does it render the volume?

Hi!
I´m getting an error every time I try to render Pyro Cache files. When I set up the Object Properties under Pyro (Default) object to On, the render works on the IPR, but when I set it up to On Export to use the Cache, I get the following errors:

[c4dtoa] 00:00:16 9596MB WARNING | [volume] IoError: could not get size of file H:\Umo\02 Producción\3D\vol\Simulation Scene_0040.vdb
[c4dtoa] 00:00:16 9596MB WARNING | /Pyro__Default_|Pyro__Default_: shape has empty bounding box: (inf inf inf x -inf -inf -inf)

I´m using C4DtoA 4.5.0.1, Arnold core 7.1.4.1 on C4D 2023 and 2023, Windows 10

This problem is driving me crazy. Any help will be really appreciated!

I can render cached pyro sims just fine with C4DtoA 4.5.0.1. Could be something wrong with that specific frame? Maybe the file is actually empty?

Also is updating the plugin to the latest version an option? There were major pyro workflow improvements in C4DtoA 4.5.1 and 4.6.2.

Thank you for the response Peter.

The problem I have is not only in that specific sim but in everyone I try. I make a very simple scene with a sphere and apply Pyro with the default setting, and Arnold renders it just fine with the Pyro selection ON. It is when I cache the scene and select On Render that I get the message.
I´m always a little hesitant to update to newer versions when I´m in the middle of a project but maybe I´ll try to go to 4.6.2 and see what happens.

Thanks!
