How long have you waited? Maybe it's just slow? If you do CPU is it fast to start up? Try enabling at least info level log messages and see if maybe Arnold prints out what is going on. Maybe it's compiling GPU shaders, which could take 5+ minutes and is mentioned in the logs...

Hi!

So I'm trying to render my scene with GPU rendering and this error shows up - " Error: [gpu] no GPU matching requirements found for GPU-rendering".

I updated my drivers, restarted Maya and my PC. Moreover, I have tested 2 other scenes and the GPU rendering did work on them...

I found out that when my scene has StandIns - GPU rendering doesn't work, but only with Arnold GPU rendering - CPU rendering works fine (No imager added).

The specs I own are Nvidia 3070 ti, 32 RAM, i7

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

That message can appear if Arnold doesn't find a valid GPU (say your GPU is too old or it's not nvidia), but 3070ti should be fine. The other likely reason we'd report that is that you don't have enough free GPU memory. Maybe Maya or another program is consuming most of your GPUs memory? Another possibility is that you have your min memory set too high by accident (it should be 512MB by default). Look at https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Device+Selection for how to adjust your GPU "Min. Memory (MB)".

Thanks for answering. Maya is the only open program and I did not change the min memory 😞

But I noticed that when my scene does not have StandIns the GPU works fine, but lets say for example I add 100 trees as StandIns - the render view screen gets stuck on "Initializing the render...".

Have any suggestions?

Your title says the error is "Error: [gpu] no GPU matching requirements found for GPU-rendering Issue" but now you're saying the error is simply that it's stuck at "Initializing the render..."? These seem like two different issues. Which one do you need help with?

I tried Importing my scene to a new one, at the new one this is what is shows... So my render view just gets stuck on a black screen as I add more StandIns.
