Are you using Layer Symmetry for mirroring? That is just a visual duplicate. Switch it off. You need to physically duplicate them.

>Edit > Duplicate >Object (Option Box), go to Scaling, at Y value type in a minus before 1.000 and hit Go.

I have a issue with exporting my car design in .stl .

When I convert it into mesh only half of car is convertend into mesh symmetrical surfaces are not converted into mesh nor into .stl.

need an urgent solution to it.

If you are using layer symmetry as Pascal mentioned and you want to have actual data vs. just a visual representation...you can use the layer symmetry->create geometry tool...this tool works with the layers symmetry plane. To use create geometry... first select the layer w/symmetry ON that contains the data you want to duplicate, then select from the menu bar layer->symmetry->create geometry.

There are a few difference between layer sym->create geo and duplicate object. Duplicate object uses the x,y or z plane to mirror the geometry about the objects pivot point. So if you select 3 surfaces with 3 different pivot points they will each mirror about their own pivot point, not necessarily the center-line of your part/car. The objects will also have a negative scale applied which can cause issues in later operations. Layer Symmetry->Create Geometry ignores the pivot points and does not apply a negative scale to the geometry. In addition, layer sym->create geo respects the layers symmetry plane. This is useful in cases like a steering wheel where the center-line is not a Y=0.
