I've begun having issues with Alias Surface crashing/freezing up. Sometimes I'll get the following promp:

Other times it simply freezes and I'll need to use the task manager to kill the app. I'm using a Dell Precision 7720 with Nvidia Quadro P4000 card. I just replaced the motherboard and gpu with new and did a complete reinstallation of the OS. Problem still persists. All the latest drivers have been installed. Any ideas of what could cause this issue?

Thanks!

@kurt.r.sutton is your laptop using the right graphic card when starting Alias? Some laptops have two cards, and use the "lower" one to save power. What does the window "Utilities - System Diagnostics" mention as used graphic card?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply, Michael. I made sure to apply settings which would force the high-end card to be used, but that didn't solve the problem. I found that my motherboard was bad, and after I swapped that and a installed a new Quadro P4000 card, I was still having the issue with OpenGL. I installed an older NVIDIA driver for the P4000 that was known to work well with my setup and that fixed the issue. However, it did not fix the issue until I installed using the "recommended" settings as opposed to a "clean" installation. For whatever reason, the clean installation seems to have been the culprit. Strange, for sure.
