Full Instance List

I would like to create a list/BOM that shows every single part regardless of there being multiple quantities. For example, if there are 10 parts called A100 I would like to have 10 rows calling out part A100. I am wanting to add part length and part weight to each row to use as a verification that all parts can be compared.

In the bom templates you need to remove the ‘group by’ opinion.

this way every line is added to the bom

Sounds like you understand exactly what I am looking for. The issue is that I cannot find where to remove this 'group by' from a BOM template. The link you sent shows how to create a group by field, but not how to find and remove. I am even missing the 'group fields" button they show in the instructions. I am using 2024 and it may have been removed or replaced. Thank you for the quick response but still require further assistance.

You can't change the grouping of an external BOM and none of them will lest each identical part as a separate line.

I don't quite understand your request. If the length or weight of the part is different it will be a different part number. If ten parts have the same number then AS has already verified that the parts are identical in every way. What is there to differentiate? Adding length and weight columns won't matter. They will be the same for all the parts with that number.

If you want separate lines on the BOM then you will need to have separate part numbers. This is easily done when numbering by going to the Special page and ticking "Unique number per object > Single part". Then, of course, you will need separate drawings for each part too. Not very practical.
