Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

I just turned of the plot for the layer they were on, did the job...

Was thinking of turning them off in the drawing styles but that doesn't help me when manualy adding detail annotation in the drawing.

Anyway I'm curious as to how you do your overview/detail drawings.

Here's what I do to get an overview drawing with details:

1. Place a bunch of cameras and set the drawing style for each accordingly (overview/node)

2. Select cameras and run process Selected Cameras full A0.

3. Open the drawing and arrange the views and finish the annotating/dimensioning.

It's straightforward but requires some manual labor and I'm still struggling with managing naming cameras in the model.

Overview/Detail sample A0 format

Camera symbols (so arrow + the box) can be removed manually from drawings similar to beams for example, as they are objects and not annotation.

There are two options to "remove" them manually:

1. Select it and press "Delete". This will remove the symbol, and leave a grey box instead. The grey box is a signal that the drawing needs updating. After updating, the box will be removed, so the symbol itself is removed from the view. To get it back, you need to use the option "Restore user-erased parts" from the View "Advance View Properties" window.

2. Enter the camera symbol Advance Properties dialog, and set it to "Off" from the "Representation" tab. This will NOT remove the symbol from the dwg, from the screen. Instead, the symbol will change its color to grey, and it will be moved to a No-Printing layer. You can re-enable the symbol very fast by setting the display back to "On".

You can also choose to remove the Camera presentation from the drawing style configuration. Enter Drawing Style Manager, browse to the style you use / Object Presentation. Identify the line with the model object = Cameras, and set its presentation to "Off" (or remove the whole line).
