Hi,
this problem only occurs, because you create a polybeam with a 90 degree connection...what is not possible to produce.

I recreate the situation and only "parted" the polybeam on this point. Then the result is much better.

Yes, this is what we do, we explode the macro and cut the top rail and join, and representation is ok, but it has to be fixed.

I think this is a problem of the model.
The railing had to be parted in two railings, because this 90 degree point in the handrail could not be produced.
So the it had to be two railings which are welded together, or the 90 degree point had to be changed to maybe an elbow.
Both, bentbeams and polybeams, could not be produce without a radius in this installation situation. So maybe this is "hidden" help funtion from Advance Steel for: "be carefull, there could be a problem", like if you use a 0 radius for folded plates, then this line is often don't shown in the detail.

This is a trap with the Polybeam tool. So many new users (not meaning you Ilko) use this tool and get one beam with mitres, looks good but it doesn't make for correct drawings, numbering etc and fabrication is impossible. I advise new users only to use this when there are bends or curves in the beam, model it as you would make it.

Gary

Unfortunately, I think that this has something to do with AutoCAD's inability to produce a 3D polyline with arcs. But yes, this is something that should be addressed. We often have rail bends in different planes on a single piece of material, but I can't model it that way.

you could model it by using the railing macro, but you could not use miter connections. If you use the "knee" connection type in the "handrail- handrail" tab, it's possible to create a polybeam.
But as wrote in the first post, then detailling of the polybeam is not so nice, because of to much lines
