I added Anchors and bolts to my custom bill of materials but the anchors don't show up in my bill of materials when I do the numbering.

what option do I need to make sure is check off to have the bolts connected to the assembly?

Hi,

so if you added them to the bom on drawing template, then I think you would need to update the filter behind the template to include bolts and anchors.

I expect they are not selected

if it is a bom via the bom editor, then there is also a report contents filter under that to control the primary elements included it in the bom

select the template and then right mouse click, look for report contents on the popup menu , select it and a dialog appears, you will see bolts anchors listed on that, check the tick box.

Hi John,

Is there a video on how to do this?

I've already added a bolt and material list to my drawing template.

How do I update the filter behind the template to include bolts and anchors.

For some reason it worked in one drawing and now it's not working in another drawing,

I've attached a drawing I've done that won't show my bolts in the bolt list circled in red.

if you change your bom for drawings, you had to double click on it, change the template, change it back to your own and then update the bom lists

honestly I don't understand what you're saying, but I have an update, I added baseplates with anchors to my drawing did an update and the anchors will appear in my bolt BOM but still I can't get bolts to show up.

also is there a way to also have nuts and washer show up in the BOM.

Update, so I went into drawing styles and created a plan view full of my assembly and in the bolt bill of materials, the bolts did appear.

So Anchors show up when using drawing processes, but bolt only show up when using drawing styles?
