Is there a way to place a curved ‘Welded Hollow Beam’ section?

There is no automatic tool for this.

you could create from plate elements using the twisted folded beams

or a series of curved flats bars

thanks John - for fabrication will need NC files, so I think it will have to be from both: plates for base and sides form flat, that can be rolled.
