Selecting and beam displayed differently

It just happened all of a sudden when selection a beam/column(anything) it doesn't light up in blue as picture 3 anymore, in picture 1 you can hardly see a beam is selected in Conceptual display and in picture 2 is wireframe.

How do I restore it to be as per picture 3?

but also check to see if hardware acceleration is still on and not become disabled due to graphics load

Thank you, Graphicsconfig restored and reopened AS and it's working again.
