I have "L" Shape plate I Want to insert it in advance steel database so I can use this custom plate in my custom connection .? IS there any way ?

The only way is to make it a special part. If the plate never changes it size or shape, you could do that , store it in a library drawing and reused it again.

but it depends upon the context of the use within the custom connection.

Yes, It's Shape and Dimensions are fixed I only Want to add this in database.? What is the process to add it database.?

Not to the database , you have to use a special part method, this can be extended to use of standard parts.

Google that and you will see.

Hi @Vikram.Joshi,

why not use a polygonal profile as a plate? You don't have to put anything into the database anyway and it behaves like a sheet metal (description,...)

it's not a profile - create a special part. Or bend plate

or create bent plate, save it as block in current or separate data and reuse it as needed ... it's still a plate

You only need to explode such a block, to get the original object = bent plate

Thanks It is great , But I have lot of Plates I don't Want to create all these, I just want to add these plates in library so I can use when I want join a beam and Colom

By the way can you Please guide the steps to make all these plates as profile ( as you make) and how to adjust required dimensions holes at location, and is this possible that after creating as a profile I can use this plates in my custom connection and blots will fit on this.??
