Is possible downloading files without links

For us is very annoing when dowload a file from ACC, always is has linked file in the same ZIP. ¿Is possible to download files from ACC without lonked files?

Hi,

Normally, if you go in Docs, find the file you want, go in three dots and click "download the source file" it will be only the file you select that will be downloaded. No zip files.

If this is a Revit model with linked Revit Cloud models, there is currently no way via the UI to exclude the links.

The only way I know of to do this is to use the Autodesk Replication Tool. This tool allows you to peer into those zipped models, so you can extract just the host model. I use this, and it saves me heaps of time. ACC really needs to adopt this feature.

Thank you Sthepanie, When the revit file has links, downloading this way will include all de links, also If yoy check 3 or 4 revit files and do this way, for each file create a zip with all the links. It´s very strange for me, but is the way it´s works.

Thank you @Chad-Smith again you! and again Autodesk Replication Tool! I made Another question a few months and you answer me, for make central files directly in ACC, and we also need ART.

Is possible to have and invitation? May you @Chad-Smith or @handjonathan can join me to ART?

Not true. In my experience (today 4/9/25) it makes a zip with all the attached files.

I had came before looking for any solution on this topic, and so now, failed to find an answer to stop from letting it download all the linked models from main model.

Hello @Minhaj_khan_AEC , the only solution avaible now is Autodesk Replication Tool (ART) that @Chad-Smith comented.

Its not the sorter way but I Hope it helps!

Yes, thanks to recent update, you can now (yeay!), when you click on "download source file" this screen should pop up automatically, just select "host file only"

I am wondering the same thing as @joseph.olsonD5DJ2 - I remember there being an option in ACC for downloading only the host file but I don't see that now in some of my older projects. Anyone have an update?

Revit API change happened on September 21. Any models added to ACC before that date won't have the extra options for downloading source file only.

I ran a test and as long as you "Publish without links" from within Revit, you only get the source model when you download from ACC.

I've never published without links. My response is straight from Autodesk.
