Not directly that i know of. If you have Desktop Connector installed, you "should" be able to open Navisworks and open the Revit model directly from ACC/DOC's. Then save it as an NWD file once it's loaded.

I would like to raise a concern regarding the current workflow limitations between Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Navisworks, specifically in relation to generating NWD files.

At present, users are unable to publish an NWD file directly from a Navisworks NWF that references NWC files stored on ACC. This restriction significantly impacts collaboration workflows, particularly when stakeholders require a consolidated NWD file for review or coordination purposes.

The current workaround — manually downloading all NWC files from ACC to a local directory before publishing the NWD — is both time-consuming and inefficient. It not only adds unnecessary steps to the process but also increases the risk of version control issues, especially when working in fast-paced environments where models are frequently updated.

Given the growing reliance on cloud-based collaboration through ACC, it is increasingly important that Navisworks fully supports direct NWD publishing from cloud-referenced NWF files. This would streamline the workflow, reduce manual intervention, and enhance overall coordination efficiency across project teams.

I strongly encourage Autodesk to consider enhancing the integration between Navisworks and ACC to support this capability in future updates. It would be a significant step forward in aligning desktop and cloud workflows for project delivery.

i know it's an extra cost, but there are 3rd party programs like Imaginit Clarity software. I have not used it personally, but it claims it can interface with ACC/Navisworks/Revit to automate tasks.

Have you tried making a Coordination Space on ACC & using the Navisworks coordination issues add-in?
It supports the following file types hosted on ACC.
Note: All file types supported by Model Coordination (RVT, DWG, IFC, NWC, and VUE) can be opened using this workflow.
https://help.autodesk.com/view/NAV/2025/ENU/?guid=Open_Models_Addin

1.) Creating the coordinate space and then open direct models in the Navisworks from the ACC won't give you the option to save the NWD, allow only to save NWF.,
2.) And if you use Autodesk docs desktop connector, you can utilize the live files from the ACC server, can open them in the Navisworks directly and allow you to save file as NWD but now we need to check whether issue creation on the ACC with that supports or not

Prosheets from DiStem has an IFC exporter that can schedule out when it exports.
But I agree all this is a poor substitute for being able to export without having to open an RVT file.

C'mon Autodesk ... do better

Well, what can be done via ACC platforms that all we know but sometimes situation happens in the project where you need to supply local federated model to third party who does not possess the knowledge, license or you cannot allow them the direct access.

you need BIM Collaborate Pro. With a Collaboration folder dedicated to reading copied files [ & their Model View Displays ] this will automatically generate views in a stand-along NWF.

Warning*** this is still very buggy & has failed on me several times - but it's fast when it works.
