Just an FYI, we have just released SketchBook Pro 2021.

The main new tool is the "Curved Ruler". Fear not, it will show up in the FREE version soon!

"PLEASE NOTE: This is an update for SketchBook Pro (which used to be called SketchBook for Enterprise) on Windows and Mac, not the free desktop version of SketchBook. SketchBook Pro will be updated with the global launch of the M&E Collection and the Alias Automotive Bundle. These features will come to the free version of SketchBook on Windows and Mac in an upcoming release."

just updated the latest version - which is not the 2021 version - which you refer to....

We are working on an update soon. I can't comment on ETA for the "FREE" version. I can assure you that the "FREE" version will have the updated curved ruler.

The different versions is very confusing. Downloading 'Autodesk Sketchbook' from the Microsoft store gives me a different software (that constantly crashes) than downloading 'Autodesk Sketchbook' from the Autodesk website. Nowhere can I download a 'Pro' version, and how do I know what the differences are between the two?

Post is asking the question “where to download sketchbook pro”? Is there a clear answer to this question anywhere? I’ve spent the last hour trying to find it with no luck. Only the free version of sketchbook is available apparently.

if the Pro version is available please let us know exactly where and what is required to attain the Pro version of sketchbook.

i love the program and would imagine the Pro version to be the next step of awesomeness.

SketchBook has the same features as SketchBook Pro 2021.

NOTE: We will be releasing an update to "SketchBook" to include the Curved Ruler feature.

Yeah the link that is provided is for an older version of sketchbook that doesn't have the curved ruler.

Hi David,

I have used v:7 for a number of years and would like to highlight the most disastrous feature of Sketchbook Pro.

If you have a hidden or locked layer, SP automatically compresses all layers into a single layer if you miss the message.

As a comic book artist, working from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, I sometimes dont save a backup for a few days and have lost quite a bit work.

In a single file, I have 38 comic book pages with multiple groups of up to 10 characters & multiple backgrounds. I also have sub groups for arms legs body head per character, (in order to create movement of the character).

I would like to have the compressing of layers done in a separate selection, ie the Edit section.

The compression massage is helpful but as a popup, sometimes its overlooked on a big bussy screen, or by accident.

Working on a big screen I would also like to have the Edit & Image functions floating like the brush puck.

I place my puck's close to where I am drawing to reduce my hand & arm movement across the drawing tablet.

I find the Toolbar too big due to the many seldomly used tools available and a puck function for would be convenient in this regard.

The most common tool I use is the back arrow & often when sliding the brush puck, the tool bar is in the way.

Please can you give some advice for converting colours from RGB to CMYK for printed books. I have seen most YouTube videos but haven't not found anything on this problem.

Sketchbook Pro has a number of features that are not commonly known that I will elaborate on in the future.

PS: I use a 7 year old Wacom Pro and excluding the above, still find Sketchbook Pro absolutely great.
