Windows 8 Desktop, app won't let me login, soft-locked.

Just downloaded Sketchbook free again, and same problem as before, except this time I don't have the 7-day free trial.

I try to sign in, and it brings up a page in-app that states it cannot connect to the webpage.

This is what I'm looking at before pressing anything, I just load up the application.:

I haven't a clue. I tried turning off my firewall, reinstalling the software, restarting my laptop, and I'm just not sure what more I can do. All I want is to use the software, but I'm soft-locked out of it because of the login requirement, which if it's free, doesn't make sense to require. Anyways, I was pretty excited to get to use Sketchbook, but I just don't have the knowledge to fix this issue if it's on my end.

Chrome is my default browser. I'm trying to run Sketchbook 8.6.0 on a 64-bit Windows 8, Intel i7 3630QM @2.4ghz.

I am definitely connected to the internet, I'm running discord, youtube, chrome, and trying to get sketchbook setup.

You need Internet Explorer 11 installed and it is installed by default if you are on Windows 8.1. Can you update to that OS?

I'm not in a position to upgrade to a newer OS at the moment unfortunately.

I've downloaded the 64-bit file you linked to, and I am getting the same message when I try to log in. It appears to allow me to use the software, but I still can't log in, so I am not soft-locked out apparently, but the software isn't able to connect to the webpage. I had chrome as my default browser and switched it back to IE, the problem still persists, even with my firewall disabled. I'm not sure what more I can do on my end besides upgrading my OS, which while I would like to, isn't something that can be done right now.

Still not sure if it's a client side issue, or something with the application. Anyways, thank you for your help. I will try to upgrade my OS as soon as possible.

My OS is not Windows 8.1 but 8 Enterprise. I cannot install Internet Explorer 11 because my OS doesn't support it.

I tried to download the earlier version of Sketchbook you provided, but the link has expired. .

It is so frustrating that Autodesk can't offer a solution. So far, we users have to become programmers and devote days and days of blind hit-and-miss.

You need to upgrade to Windows 8.1. It is the only solution to get IE 11 on your computer.
