Poor line quality with Autodesk Sketchbook

I am struggling to get a quality lines using Autodesk sketchbook. I have several problems

Lines are very jagged when free handing
Pressure sensitivity is poor meaning that I get thick or thin like a lightswitch but very little controllable gradient capability
Parallax seems to be unpredictable. Sometimes the cursor is where it should be and other times like when I am zoomed in) it is not correlated with the tip of the pen.

I know that the Surface is capable of resolving these problems as it works good in other software.

There are 2 versions of SketchBook that can run on Windows 10.

a. DESKTOP - www.sketchbook.com/thankyou

b. Windows 10 - www.sketchbook.com/windows10 (Tablets without a keyboard)

Thanks but I'm not sure why you are saying this in reference to my issue. Will one of these choices address my aforementioned problem? If so, which one should I run on a Microsoft Surface?

When using the DESKTOP version of SketchBook, bump up the PPI.

If you are on the tablet version of SketchBook, work with a larger canvas then scale it down to get the right resolution.

Lastly, under [=] > Preferences > There is a toggle for Pixel Preview as well. Turn if off to see the pixel and turn it on for 'smooth' transitions. Note that HIGHER PPI will make the image print nicely.

Changing the PPI has ZERO effect on this problem. Any other ideas?
