hi there there's a couple of these threads making the same sort of comments - in a nutshell - why has all the blog updates and tutorials for the product stopped in the past six months? There's been no response at all from Autodesk which I find disappointing in terms of customer loyalty or corporate professionalism. Most of us fear the worst - no product development - meaning no future for Sketchbook. E

So far no new updates for sketchbook pro, I was hoping we get something cool or some news keeping us up to date on what's going on in the community.

Also been wondering this. Since Nov–Dec of last year it’s been radio silence across all their social media channels. I guess they are restructuring things. It’d be nice if they’d mention something, though I imagine it can’t be easy if they’re awaiting decisions.

Autodesk should let their customers know what they are doing - without having to divulge details. I think we all understand commercial caution in going 'public'. But if they remain quiet people think/presume the app will no longer be in development...

I bought into the subscription based software 2 years ago after using the product for 10 years. Since then I think the only major new feature was Symmetry that I've received. In November of 2017 the blog stopped posting anything and there's been nothing new in the Sketchbook Extras pallet since October 2017. If they are going to stop development on this product which it appears that they already have, they'd better do the right thing and give us permanent licences for what we have to date. In my humble opinion I've paid for something twice over already. Also the Autodesk Canada site is currently selling subscriptions for $100.00 which is $60.00 more than I pay each year. I wish someone would explain what's going on.

If that is indeed true and there's no future for this product then why are they selling highly over inflated subscription prices on their website? Sketchbook has a great UI and that's why I use it, but it's not worth an unending subscription price for a failed promise to improve the product. Bad corporate practices is right. Give me a free permanent licence now or make a big announcement of how you're improving the product. The gentleman who who answers all the posts in here David Lau needs to address this problem soon.

hi Mark obviously I don't know what Autodesk are doing - which is the key to the whole issue. However your concerns about monies are valid, and again this is a disappointing aspect of what is poor customer service. E
