Hi there, this is somewhat related to the query about uploading brushes into Sketchbook Pro..whether on iPad or Desktop though. I've got Sketchbook Pro, but moved from Sketchbook Express on my Android device. I don't even need to upload/import the brush, as it exists on Sketchbook Pro - I just need to work out how to find out what the settings were on the brush in Express (if that makes sense), e.g. 'opacity', 'hardness' etc. Is there a way to find that out? As I've played around for ages on Pro, and still can't get it quite right. Would be ever so grateful for any advice! Thank you 🙂

First time post for me and I still consider myself new to Sketchbook Pro. I use Sketchbook pretty exclusively on my iPad Pro and never on my Mac since its pretty old at this point (2010 MacBook Pro). I pay for the full subscription to get all the tools and such for the app. Sketchbook is indeed a powerful program. Some of the tools are great and make it that much easier to create. But I HATE pretty much ALL THE BRUSHES!! Im used to using Procreate, admittedly. I see some great artists in the training videos that are offered (Trent Kaniuga is a beast) use some awesome brushes but I know for some reason I am not able to upload those brushes into the iPad app. This seems like nonsense to me. Some help in this are would be appreciated. Also is there any news to make updates in the future to allow this feature into the app version?

Ok, rant over. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the comments. We can't really comment on new features but I can tell you that this is a highly requested features. The free brushes on Desktop brushes are a nice feature not available on mobile versions of SketchBook.

We have used this before:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/astropad-standard/id934510730?mt=8

You can put tool palettes on iPad screen but main canvas must be on desktop computer screen.

SketchBookX & SketchBook are using different Paint 'code'. Brushes are not the same and settings will be different.

This is unfortunate if the ipad version of the app cannot import brushes yet. Top drawing apps have this and this is a must needed feature to even be more useful

It’s 2020, it’s a shame that sketchbook still does not allow users to import brushes on mobile versions. It’s a great drawing tool on mobile that we don’t have to use Astropad to pair with pc.
